Who We Are

Nigeria Property Verification

An independent property verification and advisory firm built on one principle: no buyer should pay for property before the facts are independently confirmed.

Our Mission

Independent Verification. Every Time.

Nigeria Property Verification was established to address one of the most persistent problems in the Nigerian real estate market: buyers paying for properties without independent verification and losing everything as a result.

We are not estate agents. We are not developers. We do not profit from property transactions completing. Our only commercial interest is in providing an honest, thorough verification service to the buyer. That independence is what makes our findings credible.

We operate across Nigeria’s major property markets and serve diaspora clients remotely, delivering written advisory reports that allow buyers to make fully informed decisions before any funds change hands.

How We Work

Our Advisory Values

Independence

We work exclusively for the buyer. We have no relationship with developers, agents, or sellers. Our advice is never influenced by a commission or referral incentive.

Thoroughness

We conduct primary source research, land registries, government offices, physical visits to produce findings you can rely on. Not a desktop search.

Clarity

Complex legal and procedural findings are translated into plain-language advisory reports that clients can understand and act on, regardless of their background.

Confidentiality

All client engagements and findings are treated with complete confidentiality. Information shared with us is used solely to conduct the verification requested.

Client-First

Every engagement is structured around the client’s protection. Our findings are delivered honestly, whether they are favourable or unfavourable to completing the transaction.

Nationwide Reach

We operate across all major Nigerian property markets and offer full remote services for diaspora clients purchasing from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, and beyond.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a property verification take? +
Most verifications are completed within 5 to 14 working days depending on the scope of checks and property location. We provide a realistic timeline at the start of each engagement.
We are based abroad. Can you still verify property for us? +
Yes. A significant portion of our clients are diaspora buyers. We conduct the full verification locally and deliver findings via written report and video consultation, so you can decide without travelling to Nigeria.
What happens if you find a problem with the property? +
If problems are found, we clearly explain the nature and severity of each issue in our advisory report and recommend next steps which may include walking away, renegotiating, or requiring the seller to resolve specific issues before proceeding.
Do you verify properties outside Ogun State? +
Yes. We operate across all major Nigerian property markets including Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, and other states. Some remote locations may require additional time.
Is your verification a substitute for a lawyer? +
No. Our advisory service is complementary to legal counsel, not a replacement. Our role is to investigate and verify the facts before you engage a lawyer for the legal transfer. We can refer you to trusted legal practitioners where required.
How do we get started? +
Choose your service on the Services page and complete the booking form. Your request goes directly to our team and we will respond within one business day.
